Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the Bias Binder Discord application, biasbinder.app and related membership benefits (the “Service”). “We” and “us” refer to the operator of Bias Binder. By using the Service, you agree to these terms. Contact: [email protected]. The Privacy Policy explains the processing of personal data.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old and meet any higher age requirement imposed by Discord or applicable law. You must also satisfy the age and authorisation requirements of the platform used for a purchase. Patreon requires purchasers under 18 to have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for securing your accounts and for actions you authorise through them. A binder is associated with its Discord account. Private membership connection links must not be shared. Do not use another person’s account or connect a membership without their authority. Discord’s terms apply to use of Discord; Patreon’s terms apply to use of Patreon.
2. Digital items and gameplay
Bias Binder is a digital collecting game. Cards, tickets, stardust, themes and decorations are records or features within the Service. They are not physical goods, currency, investments or ownership interests in an artist’s work. They cannot be redeemed by Bias Binder for money. Any permitted transfer of cards must use the in-game trading features; selling accounts or game items for real money is prohibited.
Free play includes daily packs, replenishing drops, goals and other displayed rewards. The bot shows the applicable costs, limits and availability. Spending tickets or stardust confirms the selected in-game action. Completed draws are not rerolled because a result is unwanted. This does not limit rights concerning an incorrect charge or defective service.
3. Random rewards and guarantees
Cards obtained through packs, drops and ticket pulls are random. Duplicate cards are possible. A paid membership supplies the stated tickets and features; it does not guarantee a particular card or completion of a collection. The base rarity probabilities for each revealed card are:
- Classic: 74.25%
- Shimmer: 20%
- Signature: 5%
- Prism: 0.75%
Packs, all three choices in a drop and ticket pulls share the same guarantee counters. After 29 consecutive reveals without Signature or Prism, the next reveal is Signature or Prism. After 179 reveals without Prism, the next reveal is Prism. A Signature or Prism resets the first counter; a Prism resets the second. Revealed drop choices count even when you select a different card. Any shorter guarantee already earned under earlier rules remains until its counter resets. Exact-card exchanges and trades do not advance these counters.
The available card pool depends on the selected group, bias and any applicable collection focus. Repeated card IDs within one pack or drop are avoided where alternatives are available. Memberships do not increase rarity probabilities or drop refill speed. Group pulls cost 1 ticket per card; bias pulls cost 2 tickets per card and are offered for groups with multiple members. Batches of five or ten apply the same per-card cost and draw rules. Current costs and guarantees are available in the bot under Odds & guarantees.
4. Paid memberships
Memberships are optional recurring subscriptions. The following are the monthly tier prices in EUR and total ticket allowances. Tiers do not add together. The checkout shows the amount payable, including any applicable taxes, platform charges or currency conversion.

- Fan: the monthly binder theme and an optional supporter badge.
- Collector: those cosmetics, storage for 6 drops, 36 wishlist entries, 3 saved collecting setups and a monthly decoration set comprising a sleeve, tape, sticker and charm.
- Studio: the Collector features, 5 saved cover designs, animated shared covers and 1 additional decoration-set choice per verified month.
The free and Fan drop capacity is 3; Collector and Studio increase storage capacity only. One drop refills every 90 minutes for every tier. An upgrade does not instantly fill the extra spaces. General cover customisation, showcase pages and ordinary game progression remain available without a paid membership.
5. Linking and delivery of benefits
To receive Patreon benefits, connect the paying Patreon account through Link Patreon in the bot. Benefits begin with the first linked, verified paid period. Payments from before that connection are not automatically credited. A membership can be assigned to one Discord account at a time, and subscriptions through different providers do not combine their allowances.
Each verified monthly allowance is credited as one allocation of tickets. It is not delivered as daily instalments. Verified paid months after the first connection can be credited even if you did not play during those months. We do not infer payments from incomplete or conflicting records. If a paid period is missing, contact us with the relevant account and transaction reference.
Where an upgrade is verified within an already credited period, only the additional allowance for the higher tier is issued. Reconnecting, downgrading, changing providers or deleting a binder does not entitle you to duplicate rewards. Membership verification may be delayed by platform outages or incomplete payment records. Failed, reversed or refunded payments may end access to benefits associated with that payment.
6. Renewal, cancellation and refunds
Subscriptions renew under the billing terms shown by Patreon or, where offered, Discord at checkout. Manage, change or cancel the subscription through the platform where you bought it. Disconnecting Patreon, removing the bot or deleting your binder does not cancel recurring charges. Cancellation stops future renewal in accordance with that platform’s terms; access for an already paid period depends on its verified entitlement and any refund or reversal.
On ordinary membership expiry, collected cards, unused tickets, unlocked themes, claimed decoration sets and unused decoration choices remain in your binder. Tickets do not expire because of inactivity or cancellation. Increased limits, saved setup and cover-design controls, the supporter badge and animated sharing require the applicable active tier. Existing saved entries remain stored; stored drops above the free limit may still be used. This retention does not apply when you deliberately delete your binder.
For a missing benefit, disputed charge or refund request, contact [email protected] or use the purchasing platform’s support process. Include the transaction reference, but do not send payment card details. Refunds are processed through the original payment platform and are subject to applicable consumer law and the platform’s procedures. Cancellation is not itself a refund request. Nothing here removes statutory rights to withdrawal, remedies for non-delivery or defective digital services, or a refund where required by law. Any consent needed to start supply during a withdrawal period must be obtained separately at purchase; merely using the bot is not a blanket waiver.
7. Trading, sharing and acceptable use
Review card quantities and recipients before accepting a trade. A completed trade transfers the agreed cards between the accounts. A later change of mind does not by itself require reversal. Report suspected fraud, unauthorised access or a technical error to us. Sharing publishes the selected content to its audience; copies already posted or downloaded may remain after sharing is disabled.
You must not automate claims or gameplay, farm rewards through multiple accounts, exploit defects, bypass cooldowns or payment verification, impersonate other collectors, disrupt the Service or use its features for harassment or unlawful activity. Do not submit names or other content that infringes another person’s rights. Report defects privately rather than using them to obtain items.
We may restrict access, reverse rewards obtained through abuse or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to investigate or stop a breach. You may request a review by contacting us. Enforcement does not remove any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Intellectual property
Bias Binder is an unofficial fan project and is not endorsed by the featured artists, their agencies, Discord or Patreon. Photographs, artist names, trademarks and other third-party material remain subject to the rights of their respective owners. An in-game card or membership does not grant a licence to reproduce or commercially exploit that material.
You may use the application and its original interface for personal gameplay and use its provided sharing features, subject to these terms and third-party rights. We may remove or replace material in response to a rights complaint. Rights holders can contact [email protected] with the material’s location, their claim and contact details.
9. Changes, availability and responsibility
We may maintain, correct and update the Service, including its catalogue and gameplay rules. Material changes to paid benefits or these terms will be communicated through the bot, Patreon or another appropriate service notice before they apply, except where an urgent security or legal requirement prevents advance notice. Changes will not retrospectively remove consumer rights arising from an existing purchase. If a purchased benefit cannot be supplied, we will address any remedy due under applicable law.
Access depends on Discord, hosting and, for membership verification, the payment platform. Outages and maintenance may temporarily affect availability. No particular uptime or permanent availability of every card is promised. We remain responsible for our obligations under applicable law; nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer protections.
These terms do not require arbitration or prevent a consumer from bringing a claim before a court available to them under applicable law. Questions, complaints and requests for account review should be sent to [email protected].
